We’ve all probably faced at one point or another that annoying moment when we try to delete or move a certain file and cannot complete these tasks because that file is “locked” by some unspecified reasons. Since all that Windows can do is display the error message, we have to resort to additional, third-party solutions. One of those solutions is provided by the application called Wise Force Deleter.

Wise Force Deleter can delete files locked by the system due to various reasons (denied access, file in use, sharing violation, disk full or write-protected, etc.) in a really simple manner, as it’s a very easy-to-use application. Just add the files to the unlocking and deletion queue by dragging-and-dropping them or by using the “add file” button. You can also right-click a pesky file and select the “Force delete” option from the right-click context menu. Wise Force Deleter will quickly and effortlessly remove that file.

This tool is not only simple to use and reliable, but also a convenient choice to make, as it’s both free and fully compatible with all the newer Windows versions.

In conclusion, Wise Force Deleter is a nice little free tool that helps you forcedly delete any file on your system.

One of the features that immediately impressed me about Wise Force Deleter is the program offers multiple deletion methods – including Normal delete, Force delete, and Delete with a restart. Normal delete is suitable for everyday use, while Force delete forcefully terminates the file's processes to allow for removal. Delete with a restart is particularly helpful when dealing with files locked by other programs during system startup.
